18. Official Israeli Government Disclaimers

  • You are requested to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA-IL) prior to purchasing any airline tickets to Israel, and you acknowledge that the State of Israel will not be liable for any monetary or non-monetary damages that may be caused to you or third parties as a result of the denial or cancellation of the Electronic Travel Authorization.

  • Submission of the ETA IL application is deemed to constitute consent to the transfer of your information between public bodies in Israel for the purpose of participation in the electronic travel authorization program (the “program”).

  • If there is information related to criminal offenses, ongoing investigations, or immigration/security bans against you, your application may be denied or your ETA cancelled.

  • All information you provide must be true and correct. The information collected will be stored in Israel, and Israeli law governs its collection, use, transfer, and protection.

  • The Population and Immigration Authority may cancel an ETA at any time and for any reason based on new information affecting your eligibility.

  • Submission of false, misleading, or falsified documents or statements may result in administrative or criminal sanctions.

  • An ETA only permits you to reach the Israeli border crossing, not entry or residence in Israel. Border control officers have the authority to refuse your entry even if you hold an ETA.

By submitting an application, you declare that:

  • You understand that the ETA does not replace the border control procedure upon arrival.

  • You consent to the release of your application data between public authorities in Israel.

  • You confirm that you have not acted against the Jewish people or Israeli security, have no diseases that endanger public health, no judicial warrants against you, and are not wanted by any police authority.

  • You are aware that previous removal orders or entry denials related to safety, crime, immigration, health, or other reasons may justify denial of your application or entry.
